The heaviest Carboflex model offers very good power, control and durability. It’s a bit more robust and clunky so not as maneuverable and more suitable for stronger players.
Update: This racket has been already replaced by newer version – the Tecnifibre Carboflex 135 S.
Reviews:
The Carboflex 140 Basaltex Multiaxial is the heaviest one from the three Tecnifibre Carboflex squash rackets – 140, 130 and 125. It’s more robust, has a slightly thicker shaft (to provide more control during the swing) and feels substantial in the hand – so it’s definitely better for stronger players who would appreciate the additional mass.
the 2012 version
Thanks to the larger weight, long main strings and slightly head-heavy balance it offers a good power and solid hits, but what users really praise is its control – whenever you swing and hit you feel confidence that the ball will go where you want it (and the quality string help in this regard as well). And as with other Tecnifibre racquets, the durability is also on a very solid level.
It’s disadvantage is worse maneuverability (it’s a bit clunky) – not really bad but it can’t be compared to the 130 or even 125 which excels in this area. So if you’re into volleying, there are better rackets to choose from.
