The Aerogel 4D Ultimate offers an effective combination of control and power, both on a very high level and slightly toward the control. Head light balance and great feel.
Update: This racket has been already replaced by a newer version – the Biomimetic Ultimate.
Reviews:
Similar to the Dunlop Elite, the Ultimate offers a nice balance of control and power as well, just more toward control this time because of the denser 16×19 string pattern. So while the large head provides a solid power, it’s not an ideal squash racket for power hitters – but rather for touch or technical players.
From user reviews over the internet it is clear the players particularly love the feel of this racquet – one described it as a really soft feel of the ball on the strings and feeling of being able to control it easily.
They also praise the combination of low weight, head speed, touch, power and control. The head light balance enables some deceptive changes of direction during flicks and it’s also very good for accurate drop shots or counter drops.
It was used by Amr Shabana, former World Ranking No.1.
