In 2012, Dunlop introduced an upgraded version of the Aerogel 4D Ultimate squash racket, the Biomimetic Ultimate – a part of the new lineup. And a new version came in 2013, with slightly modified technologies.

Concerning the properties and playing capabilities, everything stayed the same – the Ultimate is still 132 g heavy, head light, with large 500 sq cm head and offers a balanced mix of control and power, slightly more toward control due to the dense 16×19 string pattern.

Now let’s talk briefly about the 2013 technologies – the AeroSkin reduces aerodynamic drag and makes the swings faster, BioFibre reduces vibrations and improves the feel and MoS2 grommets provide a better durability and add little bit more power.

And from what users mentioned in their reviews it seems these technologies really helped – the racquet strikes the ball nicely, there are no vibrations in the frame. The swing speed seems slightly better and the racket feels just great – plus the grip is also rated well.
