Amazing control, feel and maneuverability thanks to the lightweight frame, smaller head and slimmer beam – great choice for advanced players looking to improve their technical game.
Reviews:
Two cool new models appeared in the Head squash rackets lineup in 2015 – the Slimbody 120 and Slimbody 135. They are both evenly balanced, have a small head, but the most important feature is the thinner, 16mm beam which presents many advantages:
The frame is more aerodynamic which improves maneuverability and swing speed – and that’s important because due to the lower weight and even balance most of the racquet’s power relies on your ability to generate good head speed. Also, it enables you to get closer to the wall and retrieve difficult balls easily.

While the attributes of the Xenon 120 won’t give you much power, the smaller head on the other hand offers excellent control, feel and accuracy. And when you add that high maneuverability, you get a perfect tool for all kinds of technical and difficult shots – dropping, retrieving balls before they reach the back court (using quick flicks by your wrist), passing your opponent down the rail or digging balls out of the back wall or corner.
However, the sweet spot is not that big and if you miss it, the racquet vibrates and isn’t as forgiving – so it’s more suitable for advanced players who middle the ball most of the time. And when you do hit the sweet spot, you really enjoy that amazing accuracy and feel!
the 2016 version
Also, a new version came out in 2016 – it features the new Adaptive Fan Pattern (AFP) technology where you can change the string pattern to either straight for more power or fan-shaped for more control.
