The upgraded version of the extremely popular Carboflex 125 – still offers awesome power, maneuverability and surprisingly good durability.

One of the most popular top-class squash rackets, the Carboflex 125, has been upgraded – in 2015, the new Carboflex 125 S emerged. It seems the changes are only minor, for example the grommet strip has been slightly modified to protect the strings better – and you can even remove the bumper guard to make the racquet even lighter (however, you have to restring it to be able to do that).
Good news is the advantages that made the Carboflex 125 so popular remained or were even slightly enhanced. The racket is still extremely powerful, quick and maneuverable – great for volleys, drops and all shots that demand good head speed.

The durability remained as well, some players even reported the accuracy is now better, sweet spot is more forgiving or that the already low vibrations have been reduced even more. Only the grip still isn’t ideal.
So if you would like to save some money, getting the older version is definitely an option – the changes are not that substantial.
