The strange looking Power Yoke, large head and head heavy balance give this racket a lot of power. The control is worse but still decent.

Reviews:

The PY 138 BLX is probably the weirdest squash racket of all time 🙂 It uses the Power Yoke, a strange looking kind of bridge in the throat area – Wilson claims it should offer more power and bigger sweet spot. It may seem a bit brittle but users report it’s actually very solid.

Wilson PY 138 BLX

the 2015 version

And the racquet itself seems very promising as well, players like especially the power – due to the large head and head heavy balance it’s on a very good level, you don’t have to put a lot of energy into your swing and you still get a nice power consistently. On the other hand control is worse, decent but not great – and cutting the ball properly is quite tough.

In 2015 a new version appeared – now in a different red-white design.
