Very good power and feel thanks to the large open-shape head, head heavy balance and the BLX and Power Hinge technologies.
Reviews:
Introduced in 2014, the Whip 145 BLX came with a new interesting throat design, the so-called Power Hinge. The strings are wrapped around it and it’s also quite similar to the Power Ring that Prince rackets use. Wilson claim it enlarges sweet spot and string bed movement for more power. And the BLX technology is used as well, employing basalt fibers for less vibrations, clean feedback and better feel.
the 2015 version
The racquet is moderately light (145 grams), features a large head and also a head-heavy balance so thanks to these attributes (and the technologies used) it provides a good power and feel.
In 2015 a new version appeared – in a different black-red color design.
