Evolution (both the 120 and its sister racket Evolution 130) is one of the first Dunlop squash racquets upgraded into the new Force series. It replaced the Biomimetics Evolution 120 which was pink and marketed as a women’s racket – but things have changed and both 120 and 130 are now unisex and with completely different color designs.
The popular hybrid frame style (teardrop shape for more power with a small bridge for torsional stability and keeping control on a good level) has stayed the same, only the shape was changed a bit, now it is more rounded. The main goal was to enhance even more the greatest asset of this racquet – maneuverability and extremely fast strokes. And the new technologies (or upgraded older ones) help as well – for example AeroSkin for faster drag through the air or HyperFibre for improved shaft stiffness and better stability during shots.

And while it seems the role of the Evolution 130 has changed a bit, the 120 is the same squash racket as we know it – very light, maneuverable and excellent for volleying and keeping the ball in the center of the court. Also Nick Matthew switched from the 130 to this racquet which speaks for itself (concerning his playing style).
